Smallest. Convention. EVER.

Well, the con’s not over, but because it’s my last weekend in town I was only allowed to go Saturday.

So I’m doing my con report now, cause I drank two bottles of Bawls and 3 sodas today along with eating a ton of skittles and I’m feeling great. 8DD

Yah, it was…interesting.

Got up this morning around 7 to get me and Connor ready. Shelby and Kat picked us up around 9 and we got there around 10.

Incase you’ve missed the pictures, ~FlamingAku was Keybearer Axel, ~Blueberry-kun was Failed Experiment Repliku, Connor was Surfer Demyx, and I was Scientist Vexen.

That’s right kids, I said Vexen.

Pretty much Marluxia needs to be redyed and Shelby had the wig and Kat had a lab coat. And so there was cosplay.

I do have to say, I surprised myself and made quite and awesome Vexen.

After getting registered, we went scoped out the place. Which wasn’t hard seeing as it was one room on the third floor of some random hotel.

Dealers Room, Artist Alley, Panel Room, Game Room, Computer Gaming, Dungeons and Dragons, Registration, Hallway, and Costume Contest were all one room.

Though, the one nice thing about it being that tiny was everyone could do their own thing without losing anyone.

Connor spent the whole day playing video games.

Shelby played Rock Band for a while.

I think Kat mostly wandered.

I ran into Sean, Sarah, and Brittany who I haven’t seen since middle school days, and Sean is now my con buddy. (but dear god does he remind me of Andrew, especially now that we’re older…

We made awesome new friends who were cosplaying Alice, the White Rabbit, and the Mad Hatter and we got a huge group and went to the Landing for lunch.

There was a giant freaking gumball machine and we went and acted like 5 year olds in the toy store, it was great.

I also saw Allie and Paige and got a good rant about HP6.

There were several epic elevator adventures.

Really not too much else happened.

Pretty much every cosplayer I haven’t mentioned failed majorly, except for the UBER EPIC Star Wars and Steampunk people that were their for their booths in the Dealers Room type part.
Not that there were many people at all.

But hey, I enjoyed myself.

I got a new cosplay, saw friends I haven’t seen in forever, made new friends, and didn’t have to sit around with my douche bag of a dad, so it was a good day.

Things I bought:
EPIIIIIIIIC Rainbow Octopus hat and 3 pieces of sushi made by ~RaeTamiAmi.
I don’t think she has anything posted yet, but she is super epic and you should buy stuff from her when she gets everything up and running.

Only thing to complain about:
Dad’s a dick and made me pay for me and Connor’s tickets and lunch so I now have like no money.
